Coretta Brown doesn’t just teach leadership—she has lived it under the brightest lights and highest-stakes arenas in sports and executive athletics.
A Georgia native and proud University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill alumna, Coretta built her foundational work ethic on the court, emerging as a collegiate standout, 1999 Georgia Gatorade Player of the Year, and UNC program record-holder. Her dominant play earned her a selection as the 11th overall first-round pick in the 2003 WNBA Draft, leading to professional playing tenures with the Indiana Fever, the Chicago Sky in their inaugural season, and international competition across the globe.
When Coretta hung up her jersey, she transitioned directly to the sidelines, amassing over two decades of collegiate, professional, and executive coaching leadership. From launching athletic programs from scratch at Thomas University to engineering consecutive winning seasons at Eastern Kentucky, coaching alongside NBA and G League leaders at the NBA Draft Combine, and serving as General Manager and Head Coach for the Savannah Steel, Coretta has mastered what it takes to recruit talent, align culture, and execute under pressure.
Today, as the Founder and CEO of Elite Cornerstone Solutions LLC, Coretta channels this championship pedigree into game-changing keynotes, executive development, and community initiatives. She believes true leadership is never about titles or positions—it is about serving others, recognizing dormant potential, and engineering reliable pathways for sustainable growth. Grounded in deep-rooted values of faith, family, and servant leadership, Coretta delivers the exact blueprint organizations, school assemblies, and corporations need to conquer adversity and perform at their highest level.
